اطلقت ادارة مهرجان الأقصر للسينما الأفريقية بوستر الدورة الخامسة عشرة ، والتي ستقام في الفترة من 30 مارس وحتي 6 أبريل 2026، وتحمل الدورة اسم المخرج المصري العالمي الكبير يوسف شاهين بمناسبة مئويته التي تبدأ في 2026 .

بوستر الدورة الـ 15 من تصميم الفنان الشاب محمود إسماعيل، والذي صرح قائلا : البوستر مستوحى من شخصية يوسف شاهين وحيويته وعالمه الديناميكي، حيث ينتقل شاهين داخل فضاء بصري يجمع معالم بعض الدول الأفريقية ومنها مصر مما يعكس وحدة القارة وتنوعها ، أما الضوء المنبعث من العمق فيرمز إلي تجدد الروح السينمائية التي لا تتوقف عن المضي قدما، حيث يصبح البوستر احتفاء بتراث السينما الأفريقية وشخصية شاهين المصرية الأفريقية التي كانت وما تزال رمزا للحركة والحرية والفكر المتمرد في الفن السابع .

كما صرحت إدارة المهرجان بأنها سوف تصدر طبعة خاصة من كتاب " يوسف شاهين نظرة الطفل .. وقبضة المتمرد " للناقد اللبناني الكبير إبراهيم العريس بالتعاون والشراكة مع دار الشروق .

مهرجان الأقصر للسينما الأفريقية تقيمه وتنظمه مؤسسة شباب الفنانين، وبرعاية وزارتي الثقافة والسياحة والآثار، وبدعم من وزارات الخارجية والشباب والرياضة و محافظة الأقصر ونقابة المهن السينمائية والبنك الأهلي المصري ومؤسسة " كيميت للسلام والمعرفة "

Luxor African Film Festival Launches Poster for Its 15th Edition

* The festival’s theme: “Youssef Chahine: An Egyptian Story”, alongside the release of a new book by prominent critic Ibrahim Al-Aris.

The Luxor African Film Festival has unveiled the official poster for its 15th edition, scheduled to take place from March 30 to April 6, 2026. This edition is dedicated to the renowned Egyptian international filmmaker Youssef Chahine, in celebration of the centenary of his birth, which falls in 2026.

The poster for the 15th edition was designed by young artist Mahmoud Ismail, who explained:

“The poster draws inspiration from Youssef Chahine’s personality, vitality, and dynamic cinematic world. Chahine is depicted moving through a visual space that brings together landmarks from several African countries, including Egypt, reflecting both the unity and diversity of the continent. The light emerging from the background symbolizes the continuous renewal of the cinematic spirit, always pushing forward. The poster thus becomes a celebration of African cinema’s heritage and of Chahine as a figure who embodies both Egyptian and African identity — a lasting symbol of movement, freedom, and rebellious thought in the art of cinema.”

The festival administration also announced the publication of a special edition of the book “Youssef Chahine: The Child’s Gaze… and the Rebel’s Grip” by distinguished Lebanese critic Ibrahim Al-Aris, in cooperation and partnership with Dar Al-Shorouk.
